FoilSolutions Impact Vest

This Impact Vest is specifically designed to work with the FoilSolutions Leas.  If you need a leash as well, we recommend you get the Impact Vest & Leash Kit. (Contact us for pricing)

Our new impact is OUTSTANDING.  This vest was designed SPECIFICALLY for foilers, with several key benefits that put you and your needs front and center.  The vest and leash is a PERFECT DUO.  Both comfortable, and safe.

  1. A pad on the top of each shoulder will make it easier to place the sharp mast on your shoulder when carrying your board.
  2. Three pockets with secure string anchor can fit important accessories:  the top pocket will fit a small phone and dry case or ID and laminated paperwork (like board registration) .  The two smaller pockets can carry a whistle, keys, fishing line knife, cash, or other small items.
  3. A powerful Marine whistle is included with the vest.
  4. A belt that fits our leash and Harness Hook (sold separately), and leash quick release pigtail

The leash and long shock cord will provide a 14 feet (4.2m) separation from the leash to your board.

This vest comes with:

  • Quick release pigtail/Tether
  • Powerful Marine Whistle

How to determine the PERFECT FIT for your FoilSolutions Impact Vest

  1. Chest Measurement
  • Use a soft measuring tape.
  • Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, just under your armpits.
  • Make sure the tape is snug but not tight and keep it level across your back.
  • Record the measurement in inches or centimeters.
  • Waist Measurement
  • Measure around the narrowest part of your torso (just above your belly button).
  • Keep the tape horizontal and snug without compressing your body.
  • Record this number as your waist size.
  • How to Fit the FoilSolutions Impact Vest

    1. Start Dry
      • Always try the vest on when dry, as neoprene will loosen slightly when wet.
    1. Remove the belt
      • IMPORTANT: The belt will restrict the stretch of the vest by pulling on the Velcro.  Remove the belt completely when measuring the vest for the first time.
    2. Snug Fit
      • The vest should feel tight but comfortable—like a firm hug.
      • It should not ride up or move when you raise your arms overhead.
    3. Check Movement
      • Rotate your shoulders, bend forward, and simulate your riding stance.
      • Make sure you can move freely without the vest shifting or restricting motion.
    4. Secure All Closures
      • Fasten all zippers, buckles, or straps fully.
      • Recheck that the vest stays flat against your body with no air pockets or gaps.
    5. Final Test
      • With proper fit, the vest should stay in place and not slide upward when pulled at the shoulders.
      • If it rides up, try a smaller size or adjust the straps.
    6. Install the belt and leash
