Whether you are in wavy or flat water conditions... Everybody who likes a slightly back handed sail is in the right place with the Poison. Just sheet in and gusty winds or strong currents are no longer an issue.
2012 Poison
NO COMPROMISE POWERHOUSE
The heavy punch of the Poisons is still the best response to gusty
onshore conditions. The deep profile, that is located slightly more
to the back ensures that the 2012 Poison is still the most powerful
sail in our wave range. The profile alignment is optimized for the new Radial Panel Layout. Combining this with the double x-ply luff panel increased the wind range significant. Improved
reinforcements and a new construction in the lower sail body makes the Poison much tougher than its predecessor. Especially bigger riders or less experienced riders will love the extra power in the Poison when passing the shore break. Nevertheless, its handling is neutral enough for the most radical moves.
RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
Peter: “Get up and go! The basic concept of the Poisons stayed the same, but we managed to make
it more efficient with a lot of small updates.”
The longer boom and deep profile gives a lot power to the Posion. Combining the two luff panels
with the new Radial Panel Layout results in a very stable and predictable sail, an important character
with the huge power that comes with the Poison. The high clew position makes the leech more rigid.
This makes sure you will handle the power of the Poison, even in the most extreme situation. It also
makes the sail more comfortable for bigger riders.
ARNON DAGAN SAYS
“In particular at spots like Sylt, where you have to fight against strong currents and mostly massive
shore break the Poison is invaluable. It takes you out easily and will do whatever you want once you
are on the wave, even in the most powered up conditions.”
